"We identified a need in the dance community for a store that would cater to the needs of not only the dancers, but the parents, studios and teachers. Cincinnati has a large population of dancers and studios, with many of them within our immediate radius, so when we looked for a store front, we knew that Hyde Park was the best location; it has easy access from the I-71 corridor.
I started to think about what I would appreciate as a consumer. I did some research about the market here in Cincinnati and realized there was a real need to be filled. Since the closing of Loshin’s, (a 46 year old Cincinnati dancewear store) there was a geographic void for a store in this area, an area very rich with large and reputable schools and studios. That is what drove us to open a store and adopt “customer service first and we will come to you” business model. Cincinnati Dancewear has “old time” customer service where we listen to our customers and work with them. We strive to be a resource not just a store."
